Rotating Park Bench Keeps You Dry
Posted on November 18, 2014 by Jamie Slaughter, with 11838 views
Ever been wandering through a park after a downpour, and looking for somewhere to sit and rest your legs? If you don't mind getting a wet bum then you may sit regardless, but for the majority of us we will give it a miss. Designer Sung Woo Park, from Seoul, has stepped in to provide a solution to this problem.
The idea comprises of a series of narrow panels that slot together to create the bench's seat. On the side of the bench there is a crank, which when pushed, rotates the panels revealing the dry area, forcing the wet area to face the ground.
A simple idea, that will certainly provide a useful function in areas that suffer frequent rainstorms.

I think that it's smart but if it did it like automatically that would be better so this would be good for places like south east asia and the southwest u.s.
