These flatpack homes are brilliant in the fact that they offer quick assembly, can be moved from one location to another and are relatively cheap. They are now equipped to withstand hurricane winds of up to 180mph (290 km/h), and can harvest rainwater and transform solar power into energy.
The least expensive full scale house measures 63 sq m, featuring two bedrooms, a bathroom, an office, kitchen, dining area, lounge and optional extras including decking, ramp and a covered outside porch.
The homes can be modified, and added to at a later date, and can also be positioned on stilts if flooding proves to be a concern. The model previously mentioned costs $115,300, whilst the most basic unit costs a modest $58,500.
