Runco Cinema Wall Xp 103dhd

The bigger the better; a theory which sums up this latest invention trend. The television has long been the focal point of many a family's evening, so it's no shock to notice the vast number of televisions available and the assortment of designs. Now, instead of improving the mechanics, companies are concentrating on simply increasing the size of the display screen, to almost cinematic lengths. Panasonic led the way boasting its 103 inch plasma, and now Runco have designed and manufactured a true competitor following a year long absence.

Officially named, The CinemaWall XP-103DHD (we'll call it CinemaWall for short), it exhibits a 1920 x 1080 pixel resolution, which maintains a high level of quality on the monster screen. Imagine playing your favourite video games on that, let alone new blockbuster movies. All you need is the popcorn and you have a complete home cinema experience without the common disruptions.

Let's skim over the technical specifics. The CinemaWall includes a DVI with HDCP and RS-232 inputs which allows connection to the HDH Digital Controller. Runco have incorporated their VIVix II digital video processing technology which in layman's terms avoids distortion.

The CinemaWall will be available in December, and is expected to cost approximately $99,995.
